[Nicolai is already there, with a small briefcase waiting by his side.]
Ah, my apologies. I think I explained before that I know quite many Blackwells and Blackmores, and the names tend to blend sometimes.
In any case... Since we talked like this last time, you fought the Id Beasts again. In space, even. What do you think about that battle? Don't you find it worrying they made an appearance so far away from Earth?
It's possible that the stronger fragments of Ahriman's Id take longer to awaken... Which would mean that the Id Beasts we encounter will only get stronger over time.
But not all is bad news. If I heard correctly, you managed to use the Sunlit Hero mode in that battle. Does it work reliably now?
[And Samus, who is going to be participating in tomorrow's mission, inevitably happens to be nearby. No particular reason to meddle in Roads's conversation for now, however, so she's just staying against a wall, eyes closed, listening without saying a thing]
[As the conversation starts to turn increasingly hostile, however, Samus pokes Vlaska subtly to awaken him so that he's ready, and tosses him a look of "stay sharp". She's just waiting for the shoe to drop now...]
