Doctor Zoldark...

[Here comes a kid with blue hair and quite a bit of attitude for the big man.]

Moments ago, Doctor Shirakawa tore into one of our units, a Prominence Armor prototype. The spare parts we were supplied by Herrera Futuristics were useless, part of a setup by the new CEO to try an erase all ties the pilot, an Irgelion by the name of Julia Henderson. [Gulping a bit, he didn't really think this through, his emotions are being worn on a sleeve right now.] Right now, she's trying desperately to pilot anything else only to fail miserably. Because of what happened she's unable to fight!

[And now something interesting happens: He falls to his and bows before the man, head to the floor, the following being said with much passion and lots of tears.]

PLEASE! I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH MONEY YOU NEED OR WHAT YOU WANT FROM ME! PLEASE HELP ME REPAIR THE CORONA! I'LL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES, BUT I DON'T WANT TO SEE SOMEONE SUFFER BECAUSE OF THEIR GENETICS OR BECAUSE OF THIS FIGHTING! NO ONE SHOULD HAVE THAT DREAM TAKEN AWAY FROM THEM! SO

Haven't seen a display like that since Lune turned 14...

Anyway, we're not really connected to anyone out in the LS colonies, beyond keeping an eye on the Irgelion remnants. I can have some techs take a look and see if we can patch in some AM parts, but no promises.

For what it's worth, I would have been just as happy to avoid that battle all together. Despite what they would have you think, my fight has never been with the Federation.

You were the man in the Crossbone Vanguard Gundam, I'm guessing? I was around Jupiter until a few months ago, so trust me, I know who you people are really fighting.

Sounds like you certainly get around. If worst comes to worst, can we count on the DC to defend Earth from aliens if the aliens happen to be humans?

That's what we're here for.

Besides that, there's plenty of questions I want to ask Dogatie myself, like where he got the designs for those AI units of his.

Dr. Shirakawa is a member of the Divine Crusaders, mostly as a consultant on advanced technology. I understand he's made a few enemies, and you're free to deal with that on your own times. Right now, though, we're talking, not fighting.

Alliances of convenience last only as long as parties included think they can use each other for personal gain.

Bian Zoldark. You do not need more puppets to play with.

Well, our other option is "fight to the death and whoever wins stops Adventus". Does that sound more practical to you?

More practical than being used as a pawn and then stabbed in the back when Adventus is destroyed.

You've got the right kind of paranoia, kid, but with the Federation on the side of the fanatics, neither of us will win if we just go fighting everyone blindly.

New allies are always welcome, but do we have any guarantee you won't try to capture White Chalice again after Adventus is dealt with?

No.

As expected.

What do you know about the leadership of Adventus?

You've met their guns for hire, I'm sure, but the group as a whole is mostly a cult of personality around one guy named Lans Chretien.
