Sam...alcohol impairs your decision making skills. You know this. Perhaps it'd be wiser to make a deal with the deities while sober. You should probably plot it out and consider all the avenues a deal could take. I've never made a deal but from what I understand, it's not something you need to go into lightly. Or drunk.

It takes the edge off. Makes this all just seem like a bad dream. It means I'm still human, somewhere.

I'm not telling you not to get drunk. I'm not that self righteous nor do I assume that I wouldn't do something like it in your situation. I'm just saying perhaps you shouldn't try to make decisions that could affect you so drastically in this condition.

In my right state of mind, I'd be threatening them instead of begging them. Desperate times, desperate measures. I don't want to waste any more time "thinking this one through". I need my brother back.

Apologies, I know we've only spoken once, briefly. But I couldn't help but overhear -- a bomb in your head?

I'm just full of surprises, Natasha.

We all are. You're not talking about the ticking, though, are you?

No. I can't hear the ticking anymore.

[Jo's feed clicks on to show that she's in bed, definitely hung-over... or was she drunk still? But looking nervous and confused nevertheless.]

Who's takin' whatnow? Sam-

[Rolls up into a sitting position, squinting a little when her head throbs] Where are you? The apartment? God, what time is it... [Clearly, Jo's not the MOST HELPFUL person right now, but she's starting to get the same worry that Sam has. It's been too long.]

[OHAAAAY, looks like we're in the same boat. Drunk off our asses and kinda really unsure of what's going on right now. He's on his bed, kinda of curled up and with extra amounts of mopey. And hypocritical, apparently.]

You're drunk. You shouldn't be drunk. Are you okay?

[..laughs, which causes her head to throb all over again, doooh. So pathetic.]

M'not that drunk anymore, and that isn't even a question I shouldn't.

Hn.

I shouldn't have to answer that. [Zombie Jo needs to wake up.]

[Curling up into a tighter ball, because he's a completely different kind of messed up right now. And really in no position to be giving advice.]

Be careful, Jo.

Is that seriously the best way to go about it?

It's better than waiting for something that may never come. He's too important to leave up to chance.

Have you checked the Hall of the Missing?

He isn't there, I looked. His body's not in the catacombs, either. He's just gone.

Sam, NO.

You are NOT making a trade when you're like this, you're not thinking straight! You know how the deities are, they will NOT make a fair trade and this will make it worse!

Dammit, Sam...I know things are completely and totally awful right now, but you can't do this! Please...just wait a little longer.

And I don't care, I am coming over right now.

For how long, Hanna? How long am I supposed to just sit around, expecting some sort of miracle? I need him, Hanna!

I know you do, Sam! I understand, I do...but you can't do anything rash like make an open deal with the deities! They'll just screw you over and they probably wouldn't do anything to bring Dean back!

I don't care what they take from me. Dean went to Hell for me, and living without him? It's like Hell all on its own. I can't deal with this.
