So, yeah, looked up around 2am thinking, gee something smells weird. 'Bout 30 seconds later my housemate opens my door to tell me he woke up to find his quilt ON FIRE. He threw it out the window, house was full of HUGE clouds of smoke, lots of coughing and diving for windows. Went outside after this to discover the quilt was STILL ON FIRE. Got some

eh, I'll keep an eye on it, if it doesn't clear up I'll seek medical attention etc. And no, he fell asleep reading, knocked the lamp into the bed.

Oh no! Glad you are safe. Was it cos of smoking??? BOO if so. Although, a wet duvet is good punishment. And singed leg hairs if he was under it.

Ah thats harsh. I retract my statement about the leg hairs and add my gladness that he's unscathed.

You know what I mean - bush people smell nice, like fresh air and woodsmoke ;-) You can smell them a mile off.

Oh no! I'm glad you're all ok. My suitemate's lamp burned a hole through her quilt last semester and our whole hallway reeked all night. Luckily we found it before it actually caught on fire though.
