The other day I was sitting in my backyard, and there was a squirrel rummaging about. He then decided to lay on a pile of wooden planks that were on the ground, close his eyes, and nap in a nice spot of sun. This is a phenomenon I have never seen: A squirrel who is off guard, and who isn't twitching frenetically! -
Gimpy and Baby have returned!
After being gone for over a month, both Gimpy and Baby Squirrel made an appearance today. It rained all day and was generally icky damp weather, and I guess they decided they didn't want to go too far abroad for food. They were a little shier than they had been, but they definately knew where the best foods were hiding. I ran for the suet balls ( Read more... ) -

I haven't seen Gimpy-squirrel in a couple of weeks, and I'm worried. Not that there's anything I can do, but when one has a visitor almost every day for months and then the visitor doesn't show for two weeks... well, worriesworriesworries.
