So being my extremely nerdy self I spent most of the summer reading comic books. Since I have nothing better to do and am sick of packing, I'm going to list them and then give some commentary. So far this summer I've read all of (some of these were re-reads):

Whether you've read it or not, Superman: Red Son is always fun to read. Is it ridiculous? Yes, but it has BATMANKOFF.

I wish Blue Beetle was more CONSISTENT. I've seen some thats like ZOMG AWESOME and others in the past that made me want to gary-stu-PUKE. (Also recycling the sentient-suit plot from ironman made me angry.)

YJ has no one who fades: only people slaughtered, in one way or another :/ Fuck you, trendy-angst.

If you want a lollercaust, Ultimate Spiderman (read in the bookstore in a quiet corner) is some hilarious shit.

Also, I don't remember the particular title, but something in the last year or two headlined silver surfer and was REALLY AWESOME.

Oh, and if you drop by Dizengof (however the fuck they englishize it) Center in TA there is (was?) an import bookstore that had a great selection of comics (though a TERRIBLE manga section - we're talking MIXX titles!)

Nothing is as nerdy as marathoning BSG while reorganizing a fridge AND playing an addictive puzzlegame. Duhr.

Cissie, Anita, and Greta would have to disagree with you on that.

They have been seen two or three times since the book ended.

Cissie and Greta show up when Cassie is trying to find a new High School, in order to tell Elias' headmistress that if they reject her both of them will be leaving the school.

Also Cissie and Anita were in the Wonder Girl mini, both in the "Cassie's bestest friends who are trying to cheer her up" capacity and later as Arrowette and Empress in order to help out in her fight against Heracles and the Female Furies. It was super-awesome because Tim was there too, and if I remember correctly one of them announces them as the surviving members of Young Justice. (Greta apparently was not there do to her not being dead).

Also Traya, Lagoon Boy and the Ray? I dunno, save for Traya they were kind of incidental.

Also, I totally own the TPB of Superman: Red Son. It's all sorts of amusing crack.

Also, @ pic: sometimes I wonder if Robin understands his ROLE in most team-ups he's in....

Having subjected myself to Red Robin I now question if Tim understands anything to do with himself.

I mean we know he's a super genius, smarter than Bruce. They keep telling us about this. But boy oh boy is that boy stupid.

Hopefully now that Kon and Bart aren't dead he'll be getting some sense back. Maybe. I mean he did block Cassie's number when she tried to call him to tell him about them being back, so it's doubtful.
