Weekend Update

Around 3:30 or 4 on Friday, Chris responded to my email, saying something like “it’s not that easy.” Was there anything easy about my suggestion that we go our separate ways and he seek therapy? Also, he wants us to talk on Tuesday. He basically said nothing, just that he doesn’t know what he wants and that he’d have a clearer head on Tuesday

I'm glad you're seeing how selfish he is and sticking up for yourself. Stay strong, you'll be better off in the end.

I am hating that *everything* has to be on his terms. He is reminding me a lot of my ex lately...after I split with him, he told me he was "willing to take me back", as though I was regretting the decision and I was willing to take him back! And I really really hate Chris saying that your pestering him was not helping things. That in itself is reason to get him out of your life...he should never consider you "pestering".

I'm really glad that you're sticking with what is best for YOU.
