Ah….my birthday is fast approaching...and I can already tell that things have not changed. Sheer bad luck seems to be the reoccurring theme from year to year. The crowning glory of this terrible luck was on my 21st birthday when I was dumped by my boyfriend of three years immediately upon arrival at his home early that day ( Read more... )

Yeah...I get that a lot...most people think I'm about 43. ;)
heh. Years of working in Middle Eastern sweat shops will do that to ya. But it's an honest living....

no really....I think most people think I'm older then I am because I used to be downstairs at Shampoo a lot more before I turned 21. Not to drink...just to be with friends. Most of my friends are in their late 20's-early 30's. I only have a few friends that are my own age. So people assume I am a bit older then I am.

*hugs*

(Hehe) I'm the one who's closest to 43, although I don't look it. I've been told I've looked 30 since I was about 17 (my hair started falling out when I was 15) and could walk into any liquor store and buy w/o being carded. Within a couple years though, I've been getting some grey spots in what hair I do have left (facial), so I've trimmed the beard and the effect is startling. I still look around 30, perhaps younger to some. I guess it's taking care of yourself and having a good attitude.

Btw, what is your new address? It may be that I will only have time/funds to see you at Fairy Festival but I would like to know nonetheless. Thanks!

I agree on the "society is so hung up on age".
The reason its a Birthday is because it celebrates your actual "Birth", not the day you were conceived, & I also agree that most don't want to know from their parents exactly "How" they were conceived.

I see it more as a way of those close to you to celebrate you being here, now, enriching the lives of all those around you.
too mushy?
well, happy B-day! anyway!

Don't know you and quite likely not going to.
Friending anyway, for reasons that should be obscenely obvious.

Not intended as reciprocation request; just leaving this comment so I don't feel like a stalker.
