Hmmm. If you take it literally. She should be still be able to touch the unicorn. I mean hell, that sort of technicality worked for both Macbeth and LotR, you know?

If you're talking purity and maidenhood-wise then you're probably getting into some gray area there... It's like the technical virgin stuff from Clueless.

Does it also take into account the woman's feelings? Syral doesn't view herself as a virgin/maiden anymore, so would that trump any physical rules?

Hmm. I don't know. I think that all depends on how strongly she believes that. Bit like the faith thing + a cross being used to ward off a vampire. The stronger your faith in whatever, the more likely it's able to help ward off the vampire.
