The problem with the Mermaids one is I have only a vague idea about the world and characters, so I dunno how much actual writing I would get in...

Yeah, mine's pretty vague as well. I'm just...going to go with it and see where it leads me. But you know, the goal is to write 50K. Doesn't mean you have to do it all for one story.
