My sentiments exactly - I couldn't even figure out half of what was going on in the most recent chapter I read.... with the giant brain?

And Kakashi... not impressed.

Yah that's the one I just read last night.

AND I KNOW. And I was just thinking the anime had done so well with Asuma's death and funeral AND THEN HE DOES THIS. HE FOUGHT FOR LIKE FOUR CHAPTERS.

I'm waiting for some other character to make it official, much like I did for Jiraiya's death. Because...yeah. If he IS dead, then...

Way to kill off the last reason I had to continue reading Shippuden, Kishimoto. Quick, get the dragonballs!

*snirks at the dragonballs comment*

It was a sucky and lame way to do it, too. And while saving him would be a cop out... It's not right otherwise. He's been in it the entire time. Chouza pissed me off but I could understand that.

But... Kakashi's survived so much more crap, and this fight wasn't even that long. Either Kishi has a surprise, or he really is sick of this manga and is trying to piss off his fanbase bit by bit.

*laughs* I was just theorizing that with another friend the other day.

me: Or maybe Kishimoto has realized how epic he's truly written this universe and is therefore killing off popular characters in order to decrease the manga's popularity, forcing him to wrap it up quicker to cancel, and therefore be FREED from this monster created by his own hand!
Kishimoto: Because I am tired of rolling around in money.
me: .........
me: Or maybe not.

Hehe, true. But Toriyama was rolling in money and he wanted to quit Dragonball after Freiza and then Cell, so...

I miss the good old days of Naruto. When it was about ninja doing awesome things and not about ninja doing realistic things like dying. -_-x
