On Wednesday, I got a nice little surprise in the mail: season 1 of The Vampire Diaries on DVD. Just under two weeks BEFORE the street date of August 31st.

I was dying of laughter throughout much of BloodIsYummy!Stefan. I kept shaking my head and having Bad!Tommy flashbacks while wondering if Elena was gonna get herself some Bangs of Sadness.

I just wanna have a sleepover with Caroline mostly.

I'd chose Elena as well, if she weren't a little too young for my taste. As it is, I'd probably opt for Jenna, or Alaric.

(I'm sorry you have to do it this way; all that emphasis on romance gets on my nerves, since it really doesn't do the show justice at all. Still, congrats on the job!)
