It had been a very long weekend and even with his tolerance for pain... this still sucked. Who knew Kakaclan blood didn't mix so well with some of these potions, looked like it'd take a little longer for everything to fully heal. His ribs were better after two days but his head still killed him and he still wasn't used to the sling around his arm.

He sighs and settles back against the pillow with a sour looking expression. Friends they were going to be the death of him, the female ones most of all! He silently contemplates the life of a hermit as he awaits the okay to leave from one of the nurses.

Yuiko didn't have to stay in the hospital ward since she was never really injured, just suffered from shock for a bit. She knew Ritsuka had it worse than what she had, so she had made a bookmark for when he needed it reading by hand, but this time she made sure there was no glitter to be seen at all because she knew that would annoy him.

She calmly walked to the hospital wing, bookmark in hand as she looked around for two cat ears that might be poking out somewhere that would be Ritsuka. Watching over people she soon spotted them as she came running in his general directions. "Ritsuka!" She smiled happy to see him even though it hadn't been that long since they last saw each other.

Said ears perked up in surprised at the sudden shout, but the voice was quickly recognized and really... who else would go about shouting in a hospital ward? '... Speak of the devil.' He internally grumbles and pushes himself up into a seated position on the bed.

"Yuiko..." He thoguht to tell her about her volume but it was pretty pointless when she was excited and it'd just make her start pouting anyway. "A-are you okay, Yuiko?" True it hadn't been to long since he'd left her in the safety of the common room to go help Ciel look for Lizzie, but knowing Yuiko it wasn't too far fetched for her to get into more trouble in even the shortest of time apart, but what he was really concerned over what how she was handling all the things she had recently witness.

She tilted her head slightly. Was she ok? She wasn't sure counted as being okay, but that wasn't the point. "I'm fine Ritsuka, I did get hurt and I did what you said and stayed in the common room for the rest of what was going on." She felt like that was an achievement in itself, that she did what she was told for once because she knew that Ritsuka was usually always right.

She held out the present before anything more could be said. "This is for you, I made it while it was still going on and I just finished it today." She still had her head tilted to the side with a smile, hoping that he wouldn't hate it like she thought he might.

Lizzie was still recovering from her injuries. Since Ritsuka had helped her right after she was hurt and the medical team was so good, she was looking great for what happened to her, but she felt like shit ( ... )

The past day (had it really only been a day?) had been excruciating, and not just because his arm had remained broken for nearly the entire duration. But Zak didn't want to stay in the Hospital Wing long. He was itching to be away from all these people, unused to the trapped feelings that accompanied the ward. So many people with wands...

He was quietly making his way toward the door when a wash of curly hair caught his gaze. Lizzy. Lizzie.

Without thinking he approached, an unfamiliar sensation pounding between his ears; relief and terror all at once. He hadn't even known she was still in the castle. When he got closer he could see that she was feeling as badly as he was, unsuccessfully concealing tears and a painful-looking red mark on her face.

"Lizzie," Zak said, voice cracking as he reached out an arm. His instinct was to hug her but he caught himself at the last second-Was that okay? He didn't even know how to ask.

"Zak!" her voice popped, the sob she had been letting out jumping into the back of her throat. She looked up, but quickly back down again so that she could rub the few tears away before they fell.

"Y-you startled me." he gave a small fake smile. "how are you?" she looked him over with worried eyes. "are you okay?" She moved to hug him, but gripped the hem of her sheets instead. "I-I was worried" she could have really used a hug though.

"Sorry," he mumbled, pretending not to notice the way she had rubbed her eyes. Up close, Lizzie looked even more miserable than she had from a distance. She looked like he felt. "You don't have to-" Zak started, but his throat closed before he could finish. You don't have to pretend it's okay.

"I've been better," he said instead after a moment of silence, with an equally fake smile. It just seemed so wrong to even try and joke right now. "I..."

Zak didn't know what else to say. "I was worried too," he told her, and before he could stop himself he reached forward and hugged Lizzie for real, hoping she wouldn't be upset.

Kaoru closed his journal, laying back to look at the ceiling and at how boring the plain ceiling that the hospital wing was. Letting out a slight sigh he glanced over, and around at everybody else and what they were up to since being by himself was just as boring as the ceiling.

He started to wonder just how his brother and others were and hoped he didn't cause to much of a problem in all of this, but he did feel like something happened that he just couldn't remember for the moment. Sitting up again, deciding that the ceiling was like watching paint dry as he just wanted out of this bed even though he had just woken up under a day ago.

Of course he wasn't allowed out of bed just yet, not at least until he was fully better, but the longer he stayed in bed, the more worried he got over his brother and where he was right now, so he just sat there arms crossing over his chest as he was slightly annoyed now at having to stay in bed.

The greenhouses are in desperate need of help. They are torn, smashed and wrecked to the point where at first glance the wreckage seemed overwhelming. During the first few hours and days, Aerith, along with the help of several other people were able to make some progress, but there is a lot more that needs to be done before things will be back to the way they should be ( ... )
