"Something to show me?" Alyss looked Naminé over, taking the sight of her in. It was a little worrisome to see the young girl in such a disheveled state, but realized that it had to have been something important. What could the poor girl possibly have that sent her into such a frenzy?
Her eyes settled onto the sketchbook firmly held tight to her body, and the professor sighed. "Does it have something to do with something you've drawn, Naminé?" But that shouldn't have cause the student to go into a panic. Alyss rested her hand on Naminé's shoulder. "Maybe you should sit down."
Mnemosyne nudged Naminé with his nose. She nodded, visibly shaken but trying to be brave. "Yes, at least, I think it's you. I just...I have this feeling," she tried to explain. It was so hard to though when she had no idea what was going on.
She nodded again at the next question. She'd read about people who could see the future, but she'd never encountered any text dealing with this. Naminé took a small comfort in the woman's reassuring hand. "O-okay," she said weakly, taking a seat in a nearby chair.
Cautiously she pulled her hands away from the book, "I...I was just drawing and suddenly I was getting images of things I don't think I could ever come up with. And I had to draw them." She closed her eyes, not wanting to look at the picture again, the one she knew was connected to Alyss. Slowly from her sketch book she pulled a picture drawn in her usual colored pencil. The image was clearly two figures running in the distance, one a girl and the other a tall man with a hat. Pursuing the pair was a large, monstrous thing
( ... )
Alyss took a seat close to Naminé, paying close attention to her. "A feeling that it's me. That you drew me?" Her head cocked to the side. What sort of thing could it be that the girl knew but wasn't sure?
"Did anything happen before you... started..." Her voice trailed off as Naminé pulled out the picture, showing it to her. Eyes widening, the professor stared at it, easily masking the discomfort rising up in her. That was her. And Hatter Maddigan. Gently, Alyss took the picture from Naminé's hands, taking a deep breath as her gaze moved on from her seven year old self to the assassin behind them.
"How in the world did you know about this?" Her voice was soft. It wasn't commonly known about Wonderland's recent troubles. Nobody knew about this particular memory.
Naminé was quiet, she was scared but it was also due to the fact she couldn't explain this. "I don't remember...I--I think I went into a kind of trance. I just started drawing these things." Her head fell again, avoiding Professor Heart's eyes.
She tensed up when Professor Heart studied the picture. "I don't know. It just...it came to me."
"Show me something?" Hope can't help looking confused... and maybe a little concerned by her words. After all it wasn't to often he had people he didn't know approaching him like this. But it was especially worrying at the sight of how disheveled she looked.
Unable to think of what she might be wanting to show him, he instead moves a little where he's sitting to offer some room. "You should sit and catch your breath first."
It was strange for Naminé too. She wasn't often one to approach people she wasn't familiar with. Naminé took a deep breath, not sure if she should sit or not. To be honest, this one wasn't as bad as some of the others. At least, on the surface.
"I'm...I'm sorry to disturb you like this. It's just...something is happening that I don't understand. I'm...I'm trying to figure it out," Naminé explained in a tired voice. She started to flip through her sketchbook as if in search of something. "I can't explain it...I just knew I had to show you," she knew she probably sounded crazy to the boy, but by this point she didn't care.
"N-no, it's fine." He finds himself muttering in response for her apology, he still wasn't the least bit sure just what caused all of this but he figured there must be a good reason for it all. Again though, he found himself distressed by her state and how it might tie into whatever she had to show him...
Unable to really think of anymore to say, Hope just gives a slow nod. Giving the tiger cub at his feet a small look as Vesta returns the look with a small sound. Leaning down and slowly rubbing the top of her head as the girl continued to search through the sketch book.
Finally she found it. Naminé held the page like it was something precious and slowly held it out to Hope. It was folded in half so as to conceal what was actually drawn on the page. As soon as Hope took it Naminé would probably pull her hand back and look forlornly at the ground. "I know I should go to a Professor about this...but...I wasn't sure what it meant." Her deer daemon pawed at the ground before nudging its muzzle against Naminé's hand.
When the picture was opened, it would show a scene of two people watching fireworks.
Bridget paused when he heard the words, turning a concerned gaze on the slightly smaller blonde with a slow blink.
"Ah- might want to hold on and take a breather mate- wouldn't want you passing out on me, yeah?" He put a hand on her shoulder, bending to peer up at her curiously. "You can show me what you need to when you've caught your breath, alright?" He asked- the girl was familiar, of course- he was fairly sure she was actually in his house. Now... if he could only remember her name...
