WELCOME TO OUR OOC CLASS LOG!

How this will work, is that professors who wish to hold an OOC log post a thread for each year of their classes, labeled with the year and class. ((I'm leaving on vacation soon, so tags after Tuesday will be EXTREMELY SLOW. Sorry for this!))

As expected, Miakis is all smiles and sunshine today! She is very excited to teach her first class~ Everyone who enters her classroom on time gets a biiiig smile in greeting; anyone who might be late, well, don't mind her, she's just polishing her daggers. :)!

When class begins, Miakis will instruct you all to put your books away. Today is going to be simple -- she wants to get to know all of her adorable little students today! She's going to call on each of you individually and ask for your name, your year and house, and one interesting fact about yourself.

To break the ice, she will go first! Her name is Miakis, she is a former Hufflepuff--

She pauses to wave her wand, and a bunch of butterflies appear and flutter around the room. They are very pretty and sparkly.

Kazumi Asakura. Ravenclaw 5th year. One interesting fact about herself is she loves to take pictures.

She is fairly upbeat as well.

Miakis claps her hands together and thanks Kazumi for her wonderful contribution~ And she asks what kind of pictures she likes to take.

She takes note of her upbeat attitude; apparently not all Ravenclaws are stuffy bookworms! This is refreshing.

You guys will have to keep working on your essays on your own time, because we're going on an excursion!

We'll be going to the forest to look for sylphs! It will be exciting and dangerous as, since you all already know, I'M SURE, sylphs tend to attack in swarms.

Since Break prefers doing theory, though he hates marking work, he will set work on methods of using summons, using any method you can. Again he will be watching closely. The work has to be at least two pages.

Oh, you lucky, lucky students. Apparently somebody has taken pity on you because Szayel doesn't come through the door. Instead, boys and girls, meet your new professor: Professor Thomas Raith. No, he doesn't actually have a little sparkle on his tooth when he grins (though he does know that charm), but he's definitely more laid back.

And all he wants to know right now is your name, your house and just where you've gotten to in the lessons. Potion brewing can happen tomorrow.

Oh, and if anybody would be so kind as to let him borrow your notes? He'd be most appreciative and turn that smile your direction.

((Thomas is one-quarter veela and can sometimes come off as being sex on legs, if you like that sort of thing.))

So what if she stopped taking Potions two years ago after failing at it miserably?
