Oh that- that's simple. The Occuria are known, unlike most magical races, for trying to interfere with both magical and Muggle folk alike, wishing to garner worshippers and the like in exchange for power- for apparently no other reason than because they can. Or so it would seem. Personally, he's trying to ascertain if there might be another reason, however ridiculous it might sound.
