Name(s): Rangiku, Cloud, Ashe, Shalice, anyone who is interested in the Dueling Club (either for Dueling or learning or just watching)
Location: Great Hall
Day: 12
Time: After classes, before dinner
Rating: PG-13, to be on the safe side (swearing and uh, dueling violence - because you know what our staff, faculty and students are like.)

Nanao stood quietly at the side of the room, watching the proceedings.

Though she had every confidence in her dueling skills, she'd refrained from volunteering herself to demonstrate them. She'd decided to come to keep an eye on the student duels, determined that today's meeting was not going to get out of hand.

It wasn't that Nanao didn't trust Rangiku to watch the students carefully... it was just that she was well aware that tempers were running high between some of the students.

Her eyes scanned the still mostly empty room. Hopefully everything ran smoothly.

Having heard there would be a Dueling Club meeting tonight, Shunsui floated into the Great Hall, hoping for some entertainment. He spied Nanao off to one side of the room and grinned. "Nanao~," he called happily, floating over to where she stood. "Lo~vely to see you! I am surprised that you are here," he said. "I would have thought so many people would send you running back to the greenhouses," he chuckled.

Nanao noticed the Hufflepuff ghost enter the hall, and took a moment to settle herself as he floated over. Somehow that man always managed to do or say something that completely unsettled her. Well, not today.

"Shunsui," Nanao nodded in response, turning to look up at the ghost. He was smiling, as always.

She was sure he was poking fun at her with that comment about running off to her greenhouses, but she staunchely ignored it. "I hadn't planned to come," she said matter-of-factly, turning back to watch the hall. "But I though Rangiku might need a hand with crowd control."

"...what about you?" she asked after a pause. "Come to show the students who to use their Japanese weapons properly?" She motioned to a group of students watching a duel (OOC:Sasuke-etc).
