How this will work, is that professors who wish to hold an OOC log post a thread for each year of their classes, labeled with the year and class. Today in class is spells for sewing and learning to put together clothes, starting with making socks by hand and moving onto doing it by magic.

5th years will have homework to start learning to put together more complicated things which they will be expected to put into use next class.

Sewing? That shouldn't be too hard right? She's had to mend her own clothes for sometime now, and is somewhat skilled with a needle. Strangely, she never thought to use magic before! What an excellent idea!

Charms

Due to Rangiku's departure, Washu will be covering all years until either the professor returns or until another professor is found. Greetings to all the fresh meat -Cough- new students~!

Charms 1-2

Washu arrives after the students have already assembled. It would appear that introductions are in order. Ah, look at them. The little first and second years, they're so cute aren't they~

In a voice that's sweet and only mildly condescending she says, "Hello everyone. I am Professor Washu Fitzgerald Kobayashi. You may call me Washu~! Now whom might you all be?".

Following introductions she intends to instruct you all in how to repel Boggarts, using both the Patronus and Riddikulus charm. You can never start too early~. She does not intend to tell the students casting a Patronus charm may be difficult for even the most skilled spell caster. Why plant that little ol' seed of doubt.

Lizzie knows bother charms! She's been practicing the patronus charm with the art teacher. She doesn't say that, but she can't wait to show that she has learned so far.

They might as well get down to business~! Washu is outlining the charms in great detail on the whiteboard, when a large mechanical boggart bursts through the door, splintering the wood of the door frame as it enters.

Weapon Mastery 6 and 7

Okay, no pairing up. You're gonna be with practice dummies today or targets for the long range folks. Now for ten minutes, you're gonna be shooting and swinging your best.

The rest of the class you're gonna hold your weapon in the opposite hand and attempt to get the same mark as the first. Examples: Short range, can slice through a block of wood in one hit? Gotta do the same with the other hand. Can't whittle away at it. For long range, three bulls eyes in a row using a bow and arrow? Great. Now try getting the same thing in a backwards stance.

If you're ambidextrous, good for you, show him what you can do and then get out.

Kanda had been practicing using Mugen with both hands, since before this class. He'll show him what he could by using both hands to slice through two poor unsuspecting practice dummies, then just stand there with a smug smirk on his face.

Well, this is definitely an easy lesson. Everyone gets to leave early and Xigbar doesn't have to spend time teaching. Win win for all!

But, he's just gonna inspect both of the cuts very closely. You know, just in case you need a wee bit more practice.

Aerith glanced around the room, smiling softly at her students' progress. They were all doing their best, she was sure. And if they weren't, she had a pet Tentacula (sans the Venom, obviously) that would be happy to give them a little fright.

Elemental Magic

Professor Draupnir seems to be in a relatively pleasant mood. She's not scowling, at any rate, and appears to be relaxed. We'll see how long that lasts.

This is her first time dealing with you younger children, so she is mainly concerned with review. She'd like to know which elemental spells you all know, and will be giving you the opportunity to cast said spells.
