Name(s): Shalice and Rangiku - any other staff/ghosts feel free to join. Location: Shalice's office Day: Day 11 Time: After dinner Rating: PG-13, for alcohol and language.
Weaving her way to Shalice's office, Rangiku sighed. She needed to see Shalice, both to apologise for disappearing before she got to see her at the Masquerade and for an appropriate drinking buddy. In one hand she held a hamper, filled with an array of wine. In the other, chocolate.
Finally, she needed her chocolate.
She shoved the door open with her foot and her jaw droped open slightly at the depressing state of the room.
"Oh thank Merlin," Shalice gasped, grabbing a bottle of Merlot. She popped the top and drank straight from the bottle, snatching a handful of chocolates and shoving them into her mouth.
"Whaaa.. hpnfff..." she held up a hand before swallowing, and then continued. "What happened," she said angrily, "is that no one bothered to mention that this place is full of demons instead of students. We should be vanquishing them, not teaching them." The redhead glared at Rangiku for a moment before her eyes welled with tears. "They were horrible, Ran. All I wanted was to be able to make class fun, for them, and they were horrible." She sniffled loudly, and took another gulp of wine.
"I assure you, ladies, I am more than a disembodied hand. I am Professor Iroh of Ancient Runes. I am sure we have already introduced each other on paper, Professor Matsumoto. And I have yet to meet you, with hair as beautifully red as the autumn leaves. Do not worry about the water. Though I am an elderly one, I am pretty stable for my age."
Iroh bowed to the intoxicated ladies with all respect, but came back up with a deep smile. "I see you're enjoying the day in you're own way. If you do not mind, I would love to sit and enjoy your company over whatever you're drinking...if there's any left." Iroh chuckled at himself with the last comment, hoping to not make himself any more awkward than he already is around the school.
Ran beamed happily. "Iroh! Yay!" Spinning around, she lead him into the office. "Call me Ran, though. Prof'ssa Matsumoto sounds old." She paused, and glanced over her shoulder. "Nothin' wrong with bein' old! .... Not that you're old..."
The blonde smacked her palm to her forehead and gulped down some more wine. "I can' talk today," she groaned comically. "Ssorry, Iroh."
With a self mocking grin she flicked her wand to summon a bottle from the basket and sending it meandering over to Iroh. "Joining is fun!" Flumping onto the ground, she pointed vaguely in Shalice's direction. "That's Psyche. She's a genius."
Her serious delivery was somewhat marred by the words slurring together.
"Pleased to meetcha, Iroh," Shalice said, sticking out her hand. "I'm..." she paused for a moment, trying to remember her name. "I'm Shalice Silman-Tinclair," she said. "Wait. Tismal-Ninclair. No!" she said, screwing up her face and concentrating. "It's Tilman-Sinclair. Yes," she nodded. "That's the one. I teach Divininination." She smiled up goofily at Iroh. "Or I didn't. Teach, that is. Don't think they learned annnnything," she slurred. "Stupid kids. Don't know a genie-us when they see one."
Waving a fresh bottle of wine in Iroh's direction, Shalice popped another chocolate in her mouth. "Glad ya like my hair," she said. "Tonight, I am only drinking things that match its color."
"It is an absolute pleasure to meet you, Ran and Shalice. I am honored to be join you in a glass of wine." Iroh poured himself a cup and sipped on it slowly. His eyes lit up for a second. "It has been a while since I've had anything other than tea to drink. But this is certainly delicious. I can understand why it is hard to talk!"
Iroh joined in the fun immediately by beginning to gulp down wine. "It is interesting you bring that up, Miss...Psyche. I was having a different problem with my students earlier. I tried to make their first day and my first day as easy as possible. However, they were so intent on other things that they couldn't stand to have a normal conversation with their professor." Iroh approached Shalice and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Do not blame yourself, for the professor is just as willing to learn as the rest of the class. Students being problematic does not make you any more or less a genius."

Reaching her friend's desk in a few long strides, she placed basket of wine down and put the chocolates next to Shalice's head.
"I bought both?"
