Care of Magical Creatures (6-7)

With the new professor taking on the safer younger levels, Professor Thornberry is left to tutor the advanced years on the wonders of adventure. Both classes will be held outside, because there's no better place than the outdoors to see nature and magical creatures in action.

Students are advised to take plenty of notes, because there will be a quiz at the end. It happens to be a practical quiz rather than paper and quill, but your professor fails to mention this. Students that arrive late may have to search a bit around the grounds to find their class--keep moving, keep moving!

6th Year

Today students will be showing off their creature empathy and survival prowess. After all, when observing magical creatures in the wild, one might have to adventure into their habitat! Around the grounds there are various insects, lizards and greenery that are often useful for foraging when an adventurer's bravery outlasts his or her supplies. Students must find and successfully identify three potential food sources from the grounds. They can work alone or in pairs, as long as they identify some edible wild plants or wee critters. Don't worry. The kind professor has provided long, boring volumes of creature identification guides and survival manuals that will advise students both how to find and handle the things they find

Year 3.

In this lecture Madam Red will begin addressing nutrition. Exciting, but of course. Madam Red is brimming with enthusiasm. Well aware that this isn't the most interesting of subjects to dwell to thoroughly on, she brought a couple of things with her to ' spice ' it up, sort to speak. FOOD. Each and every desk will be decked out with a stunning array of foods. Some healthy, and some not so healthy. Madam Red explains the food pyramid for a couple of minutes, before explaining which foods belong where. &yes, you may as well eat while she is talking, because she is anticipating to do the same. There will be a short quiz on this at the end of class, so hopefully all you little munchkins were listening.

Year 4.

Well, well, well. It is time to talk about Drugs. Good- Bad- Ha. Madam Red is chuckling, as the drug itself cannot be good or bad. It is the user that adorns such titles. Drugs are meant to help, after all. Some simply get abused because of the effects that they have on the body. Madam Red goes into a lengthy discussion on Marijuana, and some other Medicinal Drugs that have either been banned, or are close to it. She asks if you, the students, think that certain drugs should be outlawed, or in the very least restricted in some form or another.

Looking down at her schedule, Brietta contemplates whether she's wandered into the right classroom or not. Is she really scheduled for health and medical magic? Turning the scrawl upside-down doesn't clarify anything. Carefully taking a seat she hopes she's supposed to be here.

The question itself is a difficult one. If its for medicinal purposes she sees no reason to outlaw it, yet some drugs do more harm than good... but not all drugs affect everyone the same way.... oh... she hopes someone else will field this question.
