Heading down the Common room from the dorms, Ren blinked as Catty walked past him without a hello and head towards the door. He blinked for a moment before frowning. Catty probably had a lot on her mind still after the whole alternate reality spell she was under but she looked a bit out of it.

Maybe he could have a bit of fun real quick before he asked her for that assistance that he mentioned to her before.

Walking up to catch up, he matched her pace so he was right behind her, his hand grabbing at her shoulder and pulling her backwards slightly while his other arm wrapping around her waist to hold her close. “Hi,” Ren grinned, leaning over a bit so she could see it was just him, “Missed me?” For someone who was starting self-defence training and also planned on being an Auror, it was surprisingly easy to sneak up on her like he did.

There was only the tiniest bit of flailing and small squeak as she was grabbed up. Catty laughed then, feeling ridiculous for having not been paying attention to her surroundings. It was a little too easy to sneak up on her, another thing to be absolutely bothered by due to all of the other things she was being bothered by. She really needed to straighten her head out, but how long was it going to take?

Leaning back against Ren as he held her close to them, she smiled brightly. Missed him? Yeah... She really had missed him. A lot. And the fact that she was having these bipolar pissy moments with him these past few days were confusing her. Turning around in his arms, she stared up at him silently, one eyebrow perked up curiously. Then her mouth was pressed roughly against his as she kissed him for the first time in, well, she wasn't even really sure how long.

Words were really pointless.

Ren was pretty grateful the flailing was minimal because it would suck to get an elbow to the ribs or something along those lines. It may have been easy to sneak up on her but, that didn’t necessarily mean that Catty wouldn’t turn right around and kick his ass for it. He honestly wasn’t expect to be pulled down and kissed in the middle of the common room

Though, it definitely got the message across loud and clear.

Really, if she hadn’t kissed him first, he likely would have. It had been a while since they got to spend time together and this last week being somewhat of a break for them, he missed having her around. Good thing to know the feeling was mutual. His hand raised to cup her cheek as his lips moved against hers, pretty much any thought he had before was now gone and replaced with that he really wanted to take her back up into the dorms.

Had Ren actually decided to take Catty back up towards the dorms, he wouldn't have gotten very far, for a certain cheeky redhead just so happened to be on his merry way downstairs at that very moment.

At the sight of the happy couple Reno grinned; the sort of grin that may just have well been sly as it could have been cheerful. In a few short steps he was upon them, rules of personal space ignored as he stuck his face mere inches from theirs. "What a cute picture." he greeted ever so sweetly.
