Catty sat curled up on one of the couches in the common room, rare book in her hand as she decided to take the time to actually read something. While she didn't usually read books, they were usually calming, and this week had her on edge like no other. She hummed to herself as she flipped a page, not even retaining the words her eyes were skimming over. Yeah, the prefect wasn't even actually reading. There was the wild hope that if people saw her with the book, pausing long enough to make her look like she was reading, they wouldn't bother her.
She thought about getting up and heading down to the kitchens to make herself a cup of tea. Before, she hadn't really been much for tea, but these past few days she had been craving it more and more. Right, the more Catty thought of that tea, the more she wanted it. Getting up and dropping the book on the seat she had previously occupied, she moved to leave the tower.
