Name(s): Delita Heiral and whoever wants to bug him. Location: Delita's usual Haunt, AKA the Library Week: 42 Time: In the afternoon, after Tsunade's departure. Rating: G
Konohamaru scowled deeply as he entered the library, taking a look at all the books and crap. Ever since he had talked to Nurse Sohma that cranky old guy he was feeling a little less than his usual super badass self. He was angry, and bored, and he kind of wanted to go into the library and show it who was boss ONCE AND FOR ALL.
He noticed that Delita guy sitting along reading over a paper, and he frowned. He kind of felt bad for Delita, the guy was super smart and super dumb at the same time. It was weird.
Oh well, he wasn't too bad. And Sakura nee-chan liked him, so he must be a little bit cool.
"Oi!" Konohamaru yelled, rushing over to the table, "What are you reading?"
And Delita feels old.brbusinivaliceSeptember 28 2009, 16:09:10 UTC
He couldn't help but let out a sigh.
"It is in fact quite fascinating." His voice raised to an interested pitch, despite his own inner self doing naught but shaking his head. "The thought of being able to understand what your doctor is doing in a time of crisis is in itself quite comforting, as well."

Alma was on a mission.
Upon her return to Hogwarts, that very morning, she had resolved to do one thing first and foremost: surprise Ramza and Delita. She hadn't the time to send an owl ahead to inform them of her impending arrival, but it did not take her long to realize that it was much more fun this way.
Delita was the easiest of the two to find, of course. He was a typical Ravenclaw, and where was the best place to look for a Ravenclaw? The library, of course! She entered quietly, making not a sound as she glanced about for her friend. Luckily, he was in plain sight -- and with his back turned to her, no less!
With a grin on her face, she suppressed the urge to giggle as she approached, walking on her tiptoes to make absolutely sure he wouldn't discover her. When she was within good range, she leaned forward carefully and covered his eyes with her hands.
"I have! I just arrived only this morning," Alma declared happily. She took her hands away and sat down next to Delita, her smile only growing wider. It had been some time since she'd last seen him, and she'd missed him terribly. "It is good to be back. However..."
She crossed her arms and mock-pouted at her friend. "You could at least pretend to be happy to see me."
Maybe for her house status, Chao's constant visit in the library was a bit out of character. However, she always found something new when par-oozing around in the long rows of dusty shelves. Some books were absolute useless, some of them even out of date toward their information after long decades of revisions of the subject since then. Other books didn't particularly have any useful information in the least and certainly gave nothing to support the plan, but they were still rather enjoyable to read on occasion
( ... )
The fact stood that he was usually much more receptive to people coming up behind him, or at least, he would have liked to think that he was. Perhaps it was a testament of his own distraction, or that he himself had been so absorbed in his text that he didn't care, focusing on it and the knowledge within more than the fact that someone could have easily bumped into him, like so.
Still, the grunt he let out as a particularly hard book smacked him in the head was minute at best, though his rubbing the spot it fell on made it obvious enough that it did, in truth, hurt.
"It is fine." Delita said, picking up the few books that had landed on the table and at his feet. None touched the medical text, thank God.
Between picking up a few books, he turned to her. "Are you all right?"
Kyon was in the library. This was pretty unusual because although he was a Ravenclaw, he wasn't exactly studious. He was there because he had a plan.
He was, for all intents and purposes, trying to buy some time to himself and for that, he needed to find the perfect book, a book SO weird, that it would keep Haruhi off of his back for a week.
Of course, being a teenager, his mind reversed that and he was caught in a mild blush, clearing his throat rather loudly as he tried not to choke on the thought of Haruhi on her back.
Delita had noticed the young man from the corner of his eye, though did little in response to it, his eyes flicking back to the text in front of him.
He was a Ravenclaw, he knew that much--probably one of the younger years, because he certainly didn't know him from the seventh or sixth...what was his name? Somehow, it was slipping. Perhaps it was the way he carried himself--completely incomspicuous to the point where he was unmemorable, and how he hid back in the corner, trying to stay out of the limelight. At least, when he wasn't being dragged around by Suzumiya, a young woman who despite differing houses and younger age, Delita couldn't help but notice.
Come to think of it...
Was his name not..."Kyon"? No, that didn't sound right. A nickname?
Letting out a sigh, Delita let the young man slip from his mind, going back to his previous task.
Kyon circled Delita's table, not watching him but instead the books around him. He was at a complete loss. In all likelihood if it was a 'normal' weird thing, Haruhi would have already looked into it. So vampires, warewolves and goblins were out.
Kyon stared at the wall blankly. He was not built for this.
His eyes did settle on Delita after a moment. He didn't want to call attention to himself but desperate times called for desperate measures. He had a paper that needed to be completed so he didn't fail out of his year. His parents were lenient, but not so much that they'd tolerate failing.
"Uh...quick question. Do you know of any weird myth-related things? I'm trying to distract this girl I know."

It was vexing.
Delita glanced up, calm as ever, not even a blip in his usual composure. Though if Konohamaru really looked, he could notice a slight eyebrow twitch.
"A healing text." Delita said, simply. Might as well be out with it, though the origin of which would never leave his lips.

"That sounds really boring," he muttered.

Though in truth, the voice was something familiar. Something that he had...not heard for a long time, but something that he knew, very, very well.
So she was back as well.
At the very least, she came in the aftermath of all that insanity...
"Alma." Delita's voice was calm, composed. "You have returned."

Delita glanced at her, the tiniest quirk forming on his mouth.
"Why would you think that I am not?"
