Still...she couldn't just stand by and do nothing. If it killed her...if she got expelled...so what? There's no way she could just stand by and do nothing.
So she stood her ground, wand clutched tightly in her left hand, between the ghost widow and some younger students. "You'll have to go through me first."

"How fierce you are." Belladonna patted the girl on the head. "I will be suuuuuuuuuuure to do!just!that!" The tip of her wand tapped against the side of Kallen's head, pulling her hair back just hard enough that her face, if not her gaze, was forced to look up at the ghost.
"Are you as fierce as your brother?" came the soft question, calm and suddenly very sane.

Being out here was the right thing to do...right?

The descent had been sudden, steps silent as she stalked Kururu down the corridor until her cold grip latched onto the girl's shoulder and pulled her back, back so close that Belladonna's chin was digging into her shoulder as she bowed down closer.
"There might be something dangerous."
Reply
"H....H-Hello Ghost W-Widow." Kururu slumped her shoulders, she couldn't look her in the eyes in fear something might happen.

"Lovely day, isn't it, my pet?" White eyes slipped closed and she exhaled contentedly. "I have not felt so refreshed in years."
[OOC - We don't have to make it closed, but I thought I would add the subject temporarily just in case we did want to go with that Cynthia rescue plan ^_^]

The nature of said luck, however, came to an unfortunate turn as he followed the announcement's directives.
The Great Hall was a fair distance from where he stood, but elusive as he was avoiding being sighted should have come easy to him. That was, of course, until he actually came upon her.
This... thing... which just so happened to be blocking his quickest route. For all his wisdom, however, the Ravenclaw sought not to turn away, but to face her head on. Why? Oh heavens knows. It wasn't like he had been in his right mind the past couple of weeks anyway.

When he turned the corner, he saw that he was too late. He also saw that Sheik was trying to fight her. He ran up to the Ravenclaw, grabbed his collar and pulled him back to block the witch from him. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!"

"If you friend wishes to engage, it is bad form to interfere," she said bluntly, as if Link had done something so trivial as interrupt a music lesson. She was getting bored of all these children, who seemed to think themselves capable of facing her.
Ah well. Perhaps there was something to be gained from it, as they bickered whatever pointless bickering two boys with brains dwarfed by a single knut might bicker about. Her wand pointed at link and she drew it back in a tugged motion, darkness writhing towards Link and pulling back towards her as she drained away his energy to replenish her own.
"Even your energy is foul." Ah, well. No matter.

His words were cut short by Ghost Widow's interruption, warping into a sharp gasp at the sight of her onslaught. This was... Shit. Without a second thought he pointed his wand towards her, "Stupefy!" simple, but it was the first thing that came to mind as he reached for his best friend, latching onto his arm in hopes of pulling him away from the loathsome darkness.

Except that he was a sixth year and there was no way he didn't know his way around the school perfectly. He did. Every nook and cranny.
But that was besides the point because it still certainly looked like he was lost. But that also didn't mean he looked scared by any means. He'd grabbed his sword automatically before leaving the dorm rooms and it was now slung over one should, hilt in his hand as he balanced it effortlessly there, a familiar and comforting weight.

She walked down the hallway, hand tangled into the dark, wet hair of a student, unconscious and beaten. A slippery path of blood followed her, bruises were dappled all over her skin and looked even more sickly in the irregular light of the hallway and it's broken windows. Her skin was covered in dust as well. Oh, yes. Catty Turner was truly a sight to see. Belladonna was just on her way to hang her up in fact, mounted over the Fat Lady's portrait to pay greeting to all her fellow Gryffindors.
So very heroic.
Black lips were a smile gashed across her face. "Good day, Dante. Lovely weather we've been having."
The boy was a dog she'd sooner set to drowning in the lake, but no matter, no matter. No matter at all.
[OOC - Apologies for my delay on logging here! You don't need to worry about waiting for Ashe to reply with Catty, since the poor girl is out cold.]

His eyes noticed the dire condition of Catty and though he managed to keep the frown off of his lips his eyes hardened ever-so slightly. They flicked back up to the ghost's face.
"Care to dance a little, lady?" He swung the sword down off his shoulder and the tip made a distinctive metallic sound as it tapped the floor.
((Oh, poor thing! Dante to the rescue...! .....ffft. /shot))

Her fingers played a light beat over her wand. "All the weapon I need is right here." Without glancing down she heaved Catty up with freakish strength, as if to show a prize to Dante. "Would you care to join her? The two of you would make a fine pair." Belladonna smiled, and in the same breath, whispered a spell to muddle the mind and dull the senses, designed to blind the opposition.
"We'll make a day of it!"
[lmao XDDD Save her, Obi wan Dantobi D:]

"You okay?" he asked her, looking over his shoulder.

She was worried, a rare emotion for her. Worried about the students who still hadn't made it to the hall, about where Ghost Widow was... about exactly what was going on in the castle.
Things definitely had to be really serious for the Headmaster and the teachers to be so up tight...
Orihime took a deep breath to steady herself. She had to be strong, set a good example as a prefect and help everyone out as much as she could.
She held her wand a little tighter, praying that she wouldn't have to use it. For good measure, she squeezed Ichigo's hand too.
She wouldn't have felt half as brave as she did had Ichigo not been there.

On the one hand, Ichigo wanted - needed - to help the students of Hogwarts. On the other--
Orihime.
There was a lot of things that ichigo was willing to do to help other people. If he had been on his own, it wouldn't have been no contest, off like a Gryffindor to slow down Ghost Widow so the professors could protect the other students better. But he wasn't alone, and that changed anything.
"...C'mon, let's head for the Great Hall," he said, trying and failing miserably for a casual tone.

But the concern in his voice made her pause. Ichigo was certainly not suggesting the retreat out of concern for himself.
Biting her lip, she decided that it probably was just that he wanted her out of danger.
But- did the other prefects need to be watched out for, Orihime wondered despite herself.
It even made sense too, when she thought about it! She wasn't the best at dueling, and if they came across Ghost Widow... She really couldn't have done much, even with her determination to be brave and do well.
"...Okay," she agreed quietly, staring down at her feet.
But... still.
If Ichigo thought she shouldn't- couldn't do this...
