Defense Against the Dark Arts wasn't really the type of class that Barry looked forward to. He was usually more interested in a more... lighthearted atmosphere, which didn't really come with Professor Shiranui's territory, in his opinion.
To put it bluntly, the guy was too serious for his own good, Barry thought. Though he suspected that it would only be worse, given the circumstances surrounding Professor Rangiku and that whole incident which he... still wasn't a hundred percent clear on.
But, oh well. Nevertheless, he found himself casually strolling into the classroom, looking a bit distracted. It took him until he actually reached a desk for him to realize that he was actually on time.
Auron turned to the first student of the day and was surprised to see the young but enthusiastic Barry Palmer. He crossed his arms and arched a brow to the excitable boy who strolled in.
"You are on time. I hope you can make it a habit long enough for you to stay in the class." He turned back to the large book on his desk and quietly said, "You can wait patiently while the rest of the class comes in."

Konohamaru smiled as he entered the DADA classroom, his head held high and his feet stomping loudly against the floor. He knew it was important to make a grand entrance, so he hoped he was moving fast enough for the tails of his scarf to fly out behind him.
"Hi Professor!" He said eagerly, standing up on his chair and pointing a finger at the man he would have been intimidated of if he wasn't so foolhardy, "What are we learning today? Is it cool?"
The younger the classes were, the more direct trouble they tended to be. He often had to give advice or difficult choices to his older students out of the assumption that they should act as their age entitles them. He had no such explanation for the actions of some of his younger students.
Seeing Konohamaru virtually stomp and point as though he were a bandleader in a parade irked Auron beyond comprehension. Instead of speaking to him, he wrote in the air with his wand: SIT DOWN NOW.. The bold face of the writing was as loud with the message as he would be if he spoke to the young student.
Konohamaru visibly recoiled at the message in the air, and slowly sunk to his seat. For a few moments, he sat shell-shocked at the nonverbal warning before he leaned forward, a bored expression on his face. Professor Shiranui was so uncool sometimes.
What a jerk... Konohamaru thought, cradling his head in his hand. All he wanted was some excitement in school! Was that so much to ask?

Kazumi walked into the room and noticed she was one of the first to arrive. She was also reminded how different every class was, some classes came with a little chatter before they started, this one was always quiet with soft whispers.
Clearly, Professor Shiranui had done a good job of establishing himself as an authority figure.
She took a seat towards the edge of teh semi-circular, got her things out, and waited for class to start.

Strangely enough, despite Professor Shiranui's rather strict discipline, his class was the one Harry looked forward to all week. It was the one subject Justin had given him a complete and well rounded education on, and Harry knew his stuff cold.
Of course, live fire field training, like facing actual monsters, had a tendency to cause one to learn very fast.

"Hey, I'm not late this time! Awesome!"

Sitting down, he silently laid out his materials.
