On time as always, Delita found himself to be the first in the classroom, sitting down in a mid-to-front seat where he could get a good view of the class, but also where he would not be too at-risk to dealing with the other students.

This was a classroom, and though he enjoyed Arithmancy very much, he wasn't quite fond if sitting around a bunch of students who were more skilled with chatter than study.

Cynthia practically bounced into the room, smile on her face and a spring in her step. She looked at the words on the board curiously for a moment before making her way to her seat and sliding into her chair. Parchment, check, quill, check. With a neat hand she jotted down the topic, before turning to wave at a couple of students who had arrived before her.

"How are you today, Professor?" the Hufflepuff prefect asked politely, but with a friendly tone.

Arithmancy. A favored subject, if not one that had little basis to her future. It was the one class she had chosen for the pure basis of interest.

"Good morning, Professor." She greeted quietly, moving to take a seat near the other girl in the room--Cynthia if Sabriel remembered well. She took a few moments to drag out her supplies before taking a glance at the board.

Oh...That question wouldn't matter. No matter what job suited her best, her family legacy had decided her path for her long ago. Pity, she had been hoping for a lesson that would look outside those life roles.

"I'm quite well, thank you," he said in response to Cynthia. He took a sip from his tea. It was about time to start now, wasn't it ( ... )

Auron, not usually one to stray from his own plans, felt the need to talk to Luxord concerning the Gryffindor's favorite problem student, Toph Bei Fong. He knew Luxord would be a good person to ask considering Auron had only just entered the teaching profession.

"Professor, can I have a word with you?" he asked as Luxord was seemingly cleaning up after a day of Arithmancy.

Luxord had just cleared off the chalk board of several charts, numbers, and the homework assignment when he heard someone come in. He was rather surprised to turn and find the newest Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Auron, approaching him.

"Certainly," he replied, rather curious now as to why Auron was approaching him of all people. "What's this about?"

He watched as Luxord continued cleaning off the board with numbers becoming flying powder within moments. He looked over his darkened frames to see into Luxord's eyes, letting him know exactly how serious he was taking this.

"Toph Bei Fong...know her?"
