Running, running, running. If Barry was going anywhere, he was running, and the Quidditch pitch was no exception. It especially was no exception, since it was one of his favorite places on campus to be, whether it was for class or not; as such, he cheerfully extended an arm in his usual greeting as he approached.

"Hey, ProfessoBLAAAAARGH!"

He wasn't sure whether it was a rock, or a wayward broom, or his own two feet, or what, but he'd definitely tripped over something and had gone crashing into the ground. Barry laid there for a moment, temporarily stunned by the impact, before pushing himself up enough to spit out the dirt clod that had wedged itself inside his mouth.

Glancing up at Professor Hawkeye, he gave her a sheepish grin. "... Did you know that dirt doesn't taste very good?"

Riza didn't have time to react as the small figure running towards her tripped - on what, she didn't know - and fell spectacularly face first into the ground in front of her. She stared down at him in surprised silence for a moment before gathering her wits.

"Indeed, it does not," she replied cordially, and offered the boy a helping hand. "Are you alright, Mr...?" She deemed it part of her responsibility to know every student at Hogwarts names', for the sake of her cover as well as the investigation. While not impossible (she was as ever a very capable subordinate), it was still fairly difficult with so many of them, and Riza was sure she hadn't yet met this particular student.

"Eheheh."

Barry picked himself up off of the ground and took a moment to brush the dirt and grass from his robes. He then gave her a salute, the grin still on his face. "First-year Barry Palmer, reporting for duty!"

Okay, maybe that was a dorky greeting, but that didn't matter.

It had been ages since Pit had last been on a broom the latest being something of an unpleasant memory..., and he couldn't have been more excited to finally have a chance to take out his precious Nimbus once again. Thus, it was no surprise for him to be one of the first arrivals to the pitch.

"Good morning, Professor!" He greeted eagerly, bounding onto the scene with a bit more gusto than was likely necessary.

Toph didn't come to the Quidditch Pitch to attend the class. There was no way they'd get her on a broom. She came for the entertainment that came with students who couldn't fly properly. She hoped that there would be such students.

She took a seat in the bleachers and waited. Before long, someone had to crash, and she wanted to be there to feel it.

Konohamaru was more than two handfuls of energy as he sprinted to the Quidditch pitch, confident that he was going to be one of the first ones there. His Firebolt, a present from his grandfather after he received his Hogwarts letter, was clenched tightly in his hand as he rose it in the air with barely contained enthusiasm.

"Hey, what are we waiting for? Let's fly!" He said, practically jumping up and down with excitement as he danced in front of Professor Hawkeye, "Go go go!!"

Aang was oddly excited about P.E. Sure he had flown before, it was one of his favorite past times, but class would always give him the potential to learn something new.

Or it would have if he wasn't the only student standing on the pitch right now. "Heh heh. Maybe I'm a bit early professor?"

((ooc: School needs more third years. srsly.))

Riza smiled at the student who had arrived early. "Being early is better than being late," she said kindly, "What's your name?" Riza cursed her lack of student knowledge. It was a bother to have to ask everyone's names all the time. Some other students began to arrive and Riza set her broom down and folded her arms as the class assembled.

OOC: I agree XD. We'll throw in some NPC's for good measure.

Flying on a broom, yet another subject Justin had neglected to teach Harry. Though given this class involved flying high above the ground at unsafe velocities with only a thin piece of wood for support, for once Harry could understand why this subject was skipped over.

Justin couldn't have used him as an enforcer if he broke his neck.

"I'm afraid to ask, but how exactly does this count as exercise?"

Kazumi had her own broomstick slung over her shoulder, she wasn't a Quidditch player or anything so it was one of the older models out there but still in very good condition. Flying was fun and another great way to...check in on people.

"Hey Professor," she said, greeting Professor Hawkeye, before scanning the rest of the gathering class. She tossed a grin in Harry's direction, but was too amused to answer his question.

Shiki arrived on the pitch in time to hear Harry ask his question? She smiled, not sure if it was nervousness or sarcasm that made him ask that. Shiki herself didn't fancy brooms, but it wasn't worth it skipping a lesson, so she picked a broom from the chest in the middle of the pitch, and kicked off to join Harry and Kazumi in the air.
