As interesting as it is, having a dragon follow me around the infirmary is not very appealing. First years keep popping into the infirmary to stare.

Does anyone know how exactly this one happened?

I'm afraid I do not.

Although, the creatures certainly don't seem to mean any harm. Plus, I believe there is a strong bond here that is more than just a random animal making an appearance.

I figured as much, but having a dragon tell me that she is part of me is disconcerting at best.

Have you gained a companion as well?

Yes, he is a humming bird. I think they might be a manifestation, something like a patronous...only much more tangible.

A hummingbird? They're... very energetic.

At least yours doesn't run the risk of being eaten by any number of cats or owls on the premises...not even including those that are recently manifested.
