I need a sheep icon. Stolen from, like everyone.

Ask me a question about a canon character I write in a fandom I write about or babble about, and I will give you three tasty tibbits about them from my head canon.

(Whomever asks for Ursa or Hakoda can get two slots besides them.)

Now I wanna know your thoughts on Naveen! <3

-Naveem is classically trained and instructed in music; that is why he adored Jazz so. It broke so many rules that his parents tried to drill into his head.
-Because I see Mandolia as Spain and Turkey having a baby, Naveem's father side was Dervish while his mother's side is Catholic. Naveem doesn't care either way, after all that fuss with WWI. (Ralphie became more of a devoute Derivsh.)
-He abducts the throne to his brother in order to stay with Tiana and to stay in the culture he's fallen in love with. None of his children become heirs to the throne and he later participates in the Civil Rights movement. (Oh, Disney, I love this movie too much.)

General How spyridona March 3 2011, 02:07:38 UTC
General How’s people come from Omashu about a century ago; as such his family is still considered ‘new blood’ in the Upper Rings of Ba Sing Se. It also explains why his complexion is darker than say Kuei’s or Long Feng’s and why his affinity is for the Earth Kingdom in general rather than solely focused on Ba Sing Se ( ... )

He was the one who adapted the Agriculture Zone to shift it’s crops to the safer North which was one of the key elements in keeping panic from sweeping from the AZ to the city itself.

I like this idea a lot. Very good one, especially given the sheer size of the Agrarian Zone.

You know I love the family stuff. <3

Arnook spyridona March 3 2011, 02:48:15 UTC
Arnook fought in the Second Invasion of the North 30 years prior to canon; he battled against a young would be Admiral Chan and garnered respect and love from his people. While the capital remained nearly untouched, the villages were nearly wiped out. It was not as peaceful in the North as the SWT would like to believe… If Arnook could be questioned on this, he blames luck for his survival ( ... )

Azula spyridona March 5 2011, 23:07:43 UTC
Azula takes after her father with an artistic flair that she often does not indulge in; she found refugee in scribbling with ink and paper during the more boring lectures and classes in the Girls’ Academy. She made cartoons and doodles of instructors and peers and made no effort to hide them ( ... )

The first snippet amuses me, because I, too, think Azula has some hidden artistic talent.  She just sees it as frivolous most of the time, at least when compared to expanding her knowledge of politics/strategy and honing her skills as a Firebender.  She isn't ashamed of her skill; she just doesn't find it very important or meaningful.  I can easily see her as a drawer, so I approve.  <3

As long as this is strictly platonic, I'm aboard.  We've already spoken about the letdown that was Long Feng's failure to engage Azula for the right to the Earth King's throne.  She could read him with ease after spending a remarkably short time with him, so there had to be a degree of fascination there.  If you aren't fascinated by something, you aren't as likely to put much effort into learning about it, and she read him like a book.

This makes me sad that there was so little in the way of Azula + Iroh dynamics in the show.  We know so precious little of what they really think of each other.  It would've been such wonderful character development ( ... )

Ozai spyridona March 5 2011, 23:08:49 UTC
Ozai’s birth resulted in Ilah dying; which began a very abusive relationship between he and Azulon.

Ozai wanted to serve in the War, desperately, out of sense of proving himself to his nation and to direct his violent streak. He was cunning enough and charismatic enough that he knew he’d quickly rise through the ranks. Azulon knew that too, and refused to allow his youngest son to go to War on the grounds that there needed to be a spare heir.

While gifted in Firebending he was never considered a prodigy like his father or daughter was; his skill in bending comes from his competitive nature and constant training. As such, Ozai is the best Firebender not through talent, but by drive and will.

(Oh, I have not read 616 since forever! I suspect this will be all based after old RP stuff. <3)

- Piotr cannot stand English translations to just about everything and anything. The poor boy was spoiled by excellent Russian translations that often were better than the original pen. Not that he doesn’t like books by American authors, but translation in America seems to be a stale art.
- He’s very much inspired by Soviet Realism but often is confused about his respect and admiration. His family suffered badly during Communism and while they’re not doing much better now, he suspects he should try to move forward. Poor darling just isn’t aware Art Canon is Dead. <3 For now. >_>
- He’s… often thought of threesomes between two people he should not name and he feels very guilty considering this threesome. He’s fairly sure he’d be smacked or clawed if he mentioned it.

Marle!

The very first thing Marle learned how to do after their adventures in getting back Crono’s mother was to learn how to make Ice cream! She is not going through another adventure with people looking at her funny for expressing desire for sweet frozen cream with wild berries.

The second thing Marle goes about doing is learning the law book of Gaurdia front and back. She is not going to court again without being aware of loop holes and when Chancellors and lawyers are being treasonous.

Marle was the terror of her nannies when she was a girl. Those tall towers were fun to bound down in with various instruments of travel. :D

She is trying to consider how to ask Crono for a threesome with him and Lucca. It sounds like fun, Lucca is cute and Crono can’t possibly say no to being with two very sexy girls.
