Last year I went to visit my fiance and it was all fine and dandy on the way there. But I tried to leave on the 28th, got to Chicago airport then they got snow... lots of snow. hey! saw your lj from a post on housematehorror. I was at Chicago airport last month and it was hell! I'd just got off a 7 hour flight from the UK and the bastards at the gate wouldn't let me and my boyfriend on our connecting flight to Florida because the airline had overbooked the flight. I was so pissed, because the people were so unfriendly and downright rude. Luckily for us a few people volunteered to wait until the next morning's flight so we managed to get on at the last minute. When we arrived at Florida we discovered that our bags had been left behind! I hate Chicago airprot arrgh!

oh yeah Chicago airport sucks really bad. I know quite a few people that have had missing bags. My total layovers while traveling between WI and VA before i moved must have been at least 24 hours between all the flights I've taken. They're notorious for overbooking and having delays or even canceling short flights. Like the flight from Chicago to CWA, which was my small little airport. So sometimes we had to drive the 4+ hours to Chicago to get me on board.
