I've started to seriously look at going back to school Southern New Hampshire University has a graduate certificate program that should only take me about 2 years to complete. You only take one class at a time. It sounds pretty intresting actually. Here is the program description:

I'm so bored. Really really bored. I made the poor choice to not bring my homework material to work today. Bad idea. *ugh* I have so much to do yet I can't do it. I think I'm going to write more of my batman/joker fic Nightminds. I'm really loving it so far. So I just started taking a short story writing class that meets every friday 5:30pm - 8p.m.. But I am also in the middle of brainstorming for my batman/joker fic exchange. I have to have 1,000 words written out by the end of September. I thought it was no big deal until I realized my September is a clusterfuck.

I can work and not be wearing pants at the same time.  Someone needs to make this kind of thing into law. I think a lot more people would enjoy work if they could not wear pants and take "me time" breaks whenever they wanted.

I mean all that really matters is I get my work done - right?

So just a quick update before I get down to work (I always seem to spend about 30% of work time on the web). I had the most awesome day yesterday. Not only did I get to spend time with the town's firefighters (hot hot hot) BUT they suited me up and I got to go into a live fire training exercise. So the dilemma is solved. I decided to go to school this summer. I told my boss and *surprise* he was totally fine with it! The best thing? I don't have to quit my job until I find a better one.

I'm going out shopping with my mom tonight. I'm so happy. We haven't done that in a while.
