ok, well, lets see. i got my shipdate and job for the air force. i leave for basic march 11. really crazy soon. its scary. and im going to be an Airborne Communications/Missions Systems Specialist. basically, i get assigned to an aircraft, which means im part of the flight crew, which means i get wings(!!!!), and i am responsible for all the ( Read more... ) -

and now i am officially a member of United States Air Force! i'm super excited. it was kind of surreal when we were saying the oath and everything. but im very excited. it still doesnt seem quite real. but i'm sure that will change quickly once i get a ship date and everything for basic training. -

so, im seeing a new guy. well, been seeing him for almost 2 weeks. he's really cool. tall, smart, athletic, just got out of the air force. things seem to be going well enough, except he's leaving town in a week and a half for about a month. he's going home to see his dad, who has just been disgnosed with cancer. he said he'll swing into town ( Read more... ) -
