Though i've never lived there myself, most of my family, including my Dad, grew up there, while my grandparents were still alive, i spent a lot of time there. moreso around Blairmore. My grantparents used to own the home that got turned into the Emu farm! Come to think of it, i think my grandfather was mayor for a decade at some point.

Anyways, i used to love the Pass. Now, i love the scenery. Turtle mountain is still an amazing mountain, and there's some fantastic scenery when you head west towards BC. The town, not so much any more. its a tad small and run down for my tastes. but then, so is Lethbridge.

Lethbridge is just the right size for me. There are run down parts in every city, but for the Pass, it's like the ENTIRE place is in shambles. It saddens me, but I still love it there...

There's an emu farm in the Pass?

i've never spent alot of time in the pass, however dustin and i always drove through it on our way to the end of the world (elkford). That drive through the moutains made me realise that canada really is a beautiful place, and not just flat and brown. And how close i am to the mountains. Thus, i learned my appreciation for canada's fauna/flora on my pass drives. especially those big lakes just as you're coming in from the bc side. *sigh* so beautiful.

i forgot all about this. holy crap, we've been busy!

When the police have to be called during a town council meeting because the mayor started a fist fight?

HAHAHAHAH
the only reason i don't miss that is because of dar heatherington here.

i also love how i can say "the mayor saw me naked when i was a child!"
politics and medicine should really be kept separate.
remember when we got stuck by his house? haha

Luckily I don't think I've ever been "handled" by Irwin.

Are you sure that shanty isn't YOUR house Tanya? Hmm?!

Wow, it does look like that could be PS job. But it wasn't! Oh no, you stood in front of that shanty in all your amazonian glory. May I reiterate: boo midgets.

Thanks. :)

It is indeed a lovely drive. If you do your practicum at the high school (you're talking about your Ed. practicum, right?), it's been renovated so it looks like a 5 star hotel inside now. Yay! But the students are terrible... TERRIBLE. Hah.

How very very frightening! That was the first bar I ever went to, on New Years Eve of 2003. The people at the VLT's were like, "3, 2, 1... *pull lever*". Haha. The Cos is one of the rougher places, but the people in the towns are generally quite nice actually. :)
