Thanks! You do have some incredible talent, and I've seen the pics to prove it. That Hopper image-- I was thinking about that ptg the other day....oh yeah, I was looking at the vanGogh ptg of the night cafe and thinking of how Hopper may have looked at it, because there seem to be some similarities in theme or feeling. In both cases, the viewer is kept out of the space. But perhaps a treatise on that later. About to go into a class for work. In a beautiful setting in WV, with great food and plenty of it. But being at a class like this is tiring and makes the week go by more slowly.
i womder-- if something works as a composition for a photograph, does that mean it would also work as a composition for a ptg? i'd say, off the top of my head, probably but not always.
I'm quite taken with your painting - I've never had the hand or patience for oils, but you have both and talent besides. :) What a wonderful way to share the love of your pet. Haha, that sort of thing makes me come over all smiles.
I'd say more but I'm mesmerized by the beefy flag, long may it, um, wave.
Thanks! There are other entries that actually show the dogs-- more recent entries. I decided to do this pet volunteer thing because my feeling is when I am too old to have a large dog, I would love it if someone brought one 'round.
