I don't have this game yet (or probably wont now that I've read this). But apparently Rockstars PC version of GTA IV runs so bad and takes so long to install that it's worse than say an EA game. The install takes up 16GB of space! Imagine downloading that off Steam ouch ( Read more... )

The Steam version seems a bit flaky. It's been alternating between random percentages from 0% to 100% for several hours now. *DELETED*

I'll stick with the Xbox 360 version. =P

1. Open box.
2. Insert Disk
3. Start the game!

16 gigs is nothing.... Age of Conan on Steam is 37 gigs.

MS and EA is killing the PC market with all this copy protection crap... and it's not really because of piracy. It's game rentals.

1. Wait for de-DRMed pirate version to be released
2. Download and install
3. Play!

Honestly, it's exactly this sort of crap that drives people to the pirated version even if they'd otherwise have been happy paying for a copy.
