I didn't get any baking done yesterday, but I certainly had a productive day. I finally got over my fears and tackled the bedding for Peanut's room. I started with the valances because I knew I could handle that. I only made two panels and then moved on to the crib skirt. I decided to do the front in part green plain and part nursery rhyme. I'm so excited. I am officially in my 3rd trimester. It seems surreal. I can't believe I've made it this far. I hear this is by far the longest 3 months of the whole pregnancy, but I'm hoping the holiday and some child "classes" will help. I had my 28 week appointment yesterday. Just wanted to drop a quick note before heading out to Florida to visit the inlaws. We have our second birthing class tonight, the last minute packing, and an early departure. I think we'll have to leave here about 5 a.m. to make it to the airport on time. YIKES!!! We'll be back late on Sunday, so I'll update on Monday.

This morning Tim and I tackled the nursery. We stripped the jungle/rain forest paper and removed the switch plates in preparation for painting. We'll definitely need to prime the walls and have a ways to go until it's done, but it was great getting past this first stage.
