I'm a little concerned by Grandmama--who Tori has seen and disliked in many things--and who I found really irritating during the ten seconds she was in this video. Granted, it was the actress I was seeing, not the character... but it's not like those are entirely discrete entities

Aw! I am really hoping to make a NYC trip some time this spring to see this show. I'm sure I'll spend most of my visit with my sister, but we should totally get together to catch up.

Also, yeah. I'll hold off on passing judgment on Wednesday until I've heard it with my own two ears... but I'm concerned. Oh, and the phrase "it makes me throw up my veggie bacon breakfast" made me laugh so hard I snorted. Well played.

Oh and Jackie Hoffman the women playing Grandma she has moments. She was fanfuckingtastic in Xandau...but otherwise, i'd give or take her

I don't know what my sister's seen her in, but living in Manhattan she gets to a lot more Broadway shows than I do, and I've learned to trust her judgment. Hoffman certainly looks the part, and my fingers are crossed that she'll pull it off.

Totally agree about Bebe. She looks amazing.

I saw Xanadu and HATED Jackie Hoffman in it. She's very broad, loves to be over the top, and is just not my cup of tea. Obviously she works for some people, but she does not work for me.

And as for Wednesday, I think you need to let the braids go. They obviously went in a different direction, and you'll just torture yourself wishing she had braids every time you a still or clip.
