The album was supposed to come out this past spring but got bumped to its September release. Since she had surgery in March, I'm fairly certain that everything was recorded before her surgery. However, I'm pretty sure it was at various stages before her surgery, so her voice is rougher on some tracks. Also, I think for some tracks, it might be a conscious decision to sound rougher than others. But that's all I got.
And I'm sad, too, but they are still playing and making awesome music and there's no saying they'll never play together again.
that was post surgery. She damaged her vocals because she didn't warm-up properly before singing and because of monitors not being loud enough on stage and straining her voice to hear :( .

And yeah, I'm glad the Dolls broke up the way they did, rather than trying to stick it out and getting all bitter and angry and such.
