Back in 2002 20th Century Fox greenlighted an animated series based on Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. The series was to be set during the tail end of season 1, but when Fox Kids (the show's planned home) shut down, they were unable to sell the show to another network. In 2004 Fox once again showed an interest, and a short pilot was produced in order

So did he ever find a taker? It looks geared more towards teens than adults, although there are some great adult (not porn adult, just grown-up adult) cartoons out there, too.
