Who's got your back?

Evan pointed out to me that BREAKING UP was featured on The Comics Reporter's Five For Friday! I searched in vain for fifteen minutes, sometimes geting distracted by juicy comic news, and gave up. I emailed him back and he then kindly directed me to where it appeared:

My sister is SO cute! She gets told she looks like Bjork all the time, I get told I look like Jennifer Tilly. Constantly (twice at the book signing alone).

Thanks for the Wizard World suggestion! I've got a crazy schedule for 2007, including San Diego Comic Con and MoCCA... otherwise, I am only travels to shows as a guest (i.e. they pay for my expenses, etc.). I've just received an invite from Toronto Comic Con and am trying to find a way to fit it in. I'll post my itinerary as it firms up tho!

My attendance at SPX is only so I can crash Jim Dougan's table (see comment below).

SPX? I don't know...I hear it's sold out. You'll never find a place to sit.

If I can make it down, I am totally crashing your table.

PS. I don't think I can make it to your signing tomorrow! I was planning to, but then was reminded I need to attend an orientation for Josie's school.

PSS. Call me on my cel if you guys go out after for drinks.

PSSS. Try and come down to the Village/SoHo if you do.

PSSSS> :P

Orientation, shmorientation. It's only your child's future you're talking about. I will give you a call when I'm in town, though. And/or if Bob Mould cuts me off on the sidewalk again.

That would indeed be awesome if there's more Hopeless Savages somewhere down the line, so I agree with all those askers.

Have an awesome SPX if you go. I went last year, but I have two fewer reasons this time around, so I'm undecided.

It was Hopeless-Savages and Blue Monday that originally got me hooked on Oni books.

Is the Toronto Comic Con the Paradise Comics one?

Yup, Paradise Comics is the one-- and I accepted their invite yesterday. I understand this is the con I should go to? Not the other one in this fued I know so little about?

Ha ha! Yeah, it is. It's really confusing, because the other company does tit-for-tat shows and naming-thing. I don't know their exact relationship (friendly co-existence?), but Paradise and The Beguiling seem to cooperate on shows.
