I've always thought that Vulcans would broadcast more telepathically than people gave them credit for! I'd like to see a video version someday of the happy couple taking a turn on the dance floor!
This was a delight from start to finish. You've created a plausible "world" and everyone was in character throughout. I liked the idea of Vulcans "broadcasting" and some folks being more sensitive to this. Also how much of strain it was to Spock with the added problem of cutting him off from Nyota. You handled it very well. I especially liked the part saying some people were irritable or uncomfortable around Vulcans and, having no other way attribute their discomfort decided they didn't like Vulcans

Such a lovely story! I like the way you've blended the cultural elements and the changes in the way Spock interacts with Nyota. Their thoughtfulness towards each other is so nicely depicted -- her suggestions of how they will have their meal, his willingness to take her to the performance and dance with her. The story goes beyond "happy ever after" and shows the relationship continuing to develop. Vulcan or human, there's always somewhere deeper to go in a close relationship, and you've done a wonderful job with it here. Thanks, author!
