RPF w/ AU/OC changes OR setting change, but not both. How do I find these kinds of fics?

Does anyone know of there is/are specific term(s) or tag(s) for these kinds of realities? As in Jensen and Jared actually being who they are in real life.

They're generally called (or tagged as) "non-AU". Some might still be AUish or bend reality a little more than others, but the tag pretty much means Jared and Jensen working as actors on Supernatural.

You can search for non-AU/non AU tags across a multitude of different sources, including right here at storyfinders! (look up the genre: non-au tag)

One fic I love and recommend is the Play Nice Proviso by qblackheart but go forth and discover more!

Yep. What they ^^ said. The same author who wrote Play Nice also wrote The Courtship of Jensen's Co-star, which is also an excellent non-au. There is also The Puzzle 'verse by Felisblanco, in which the boys are actors who work on Supernatural, but Jensen is on the autism spectrum.

Has other actors being themselves also. I have to admit, I never read the follow up stories but the first one/main one is one of my favorites and I think what really hits me about it is that I can totally picture the main event of the story happening.

I've always been fond of "In Production" https://archiveofourown.org/works/41962 and now with the show ending and Jared moving on to another tv show, it's a little more accurate than it originally was. :)
