I've seen a bunch of prompts where stepdad!Jensen can't resist omega-in-heat!Jared, but I was thinking of it the other way around. When omega!Jensen married Jared's dad, Jared was still a little kid, and Jensen knows he shouldn't think of him this way, but at 17, Jared is now a hot young alpha. his husband is spending more and more time 'at work,' and Jared obviously has a crush on him too. Jensen's been taking heat suppressants for years because his husband isn't interested, but this month, he goes without, knowing his husband will be on a business trip out of town. he and Jared have plenty of privacy for their first mating frenzy.

points for Jared knocking his stepomega up on the very first go-round.

Alrighty, this has become a monster at 17,000 words and still not done. ALMOST, though! There is too much plot but I swear it's still mostly porn. Anyway, here's hoping it's ready tomorrow or at least for half-price Tuesday.

Half-price Tuesday it is! Actually finished this last night, but I always forget how tedious and time-consuming formatting is. Nevertheless, here you go:

All Your Love and Your Longing BehindJensen meets Jared and his dad Jack when Jared is eleven-years-old exactly. From the beginning, Jared strikes Jensen as a puppy: small for his age in baggy clothes, but huge hands hanging off skinny wrists, tripping over enormous ratty Chucks when he walks through the doors of the animal shelter. He goes directly to the main desk, gives him the smile that will be Jensen’s weakness for the rest of his life, and says, “Hello! It’s my birthday and I’m getting a dog today,” with all the confidence of an eldest alpha and Jensen really wants to ruffle the kid’s messy, overlong brown hair ( ... )

Read this at your journal and I LOVED it. It was wonderful and I was so glad that Jack wasn't left out. I almost have to wonder if he saw Jared and Jensen connect and wanted to make his boy(s?) happy. If you ever want to share his story I would love to read that. Not the OP, btw.

End note 3. Can anyone trace the genesis of alpha/beta/omega/knotting fic? Is it something that exists outside this fandom? I've always wondered and my Google searches have proven unsuccessful. :(I don't know what started it. I have found some in more "normal" fandoms shows that take place in our or universes like ours, but it seems to flourish in fandoms where things like this aren't... errr.. far out of things possible in the world, if that makes sense. In Supernatural it seems to have grown into it's own genre from people wanting knotting and/or alpha/beta/omega fic but not that into werewolf fic or bestiality. Those aren't the only reason people love it but that has helped with its popularity, imho. Of course, I could be completely wrong and making ( ... )

Thank you for the stab at the history! That sounds very likely to me and proves, once again, what a badass fandom SPN is.

I'm really glad you liked how Jack was handled. I think he was playing matchmaker with his boys, too, although that revealed itself to me slowly. :)

And I JUST realized that I forgot to enable anon commenting/disable IP logging on my journal proper. I suck! That's been rectified and thank you especially for taking the time to comment over here!
