Aw, I liked the way you used Tracy here. This is definitely something Sam needs to hear, and maybe getting it from someone relatively impartial is the best way for it to get through. ♥ the beer-floating, too. ;)
What a wonderful fic! I love a good casefic, and it was great to see Tracy's character fleshed out a little bit more.
You did a neat job bringing back Sam's powers in a believable way. And I adored how you had Tracy help Sam to realise that they could be used in a practical way, that they aren't necessarily evil. “We need beers...You should float them on over.” - Hilarious!
I'd never thought of Sam's powers returning, and how that might help him cure Dean - it's a fascinating idea! I'd love to read more of this!
Thanks for sharing, this was a thoroughly entertaining read. :)
I really like this story. Tracy is very interesting as a character here, and I like her grudging respect for Sam.
“So you just… basically ignored an entire part of your brain because your family didn’t like it.”
YES! When Sam had his powers he was saving humans possessed by demons. Just because a power is supernatural (that kind of goes with the territory) doesn't mean it's necessarily evil.
(Show, take note...)
I also like the part where Sam has picked up an angelic tic. He's been a vessel of some sort for other powers his entire life and he hates it.
And the last line, <3 <3
Sam deserves to be human, even if it's only for himself.
