The first SPN fic I wrote was for a reverse bang, asking for the story of the first time Gordon came to the Roadhouse and why Ellen thinks of him as "the Hannibal Lector of hunters". I found a reference to "Jo's journal" (which was revealed on one of the DVD sets?), and used that as inspiration to create a canonical backstory that I really enjoyed writing. But since the only characters in it are Jo, Ellen, and Gordon, it never got much traction. It's called Night of the Hunter, and I'd be happy if anyone has some thoughtful concrit on it. Thanks!

OK here's a fic I wrote the first time I got into the series. I was 4yrs late to the fandom and was just inspired. Its also to first fic I wrote outside the Harry Potter fandom. I was warned that the Spn fans were ... different .... but I still threw myself headfirst into it. And on my first day found myself in a fandom wank. So... I didn't get many reviews ... just a whole bunch if wank on the little parts that wasn't actually part of the story itself. So its Au and wincest. Hope you like. Constructive crit. Welcome. Sorry, I've been slammed all weekend and haven't been able to keep an eye on the thread and just noticed your comment got marked as spam :( Probably because of the external link, sometimes lj is picky about those. I've unscreened it, but am afraid this thread is pretty much dead now. I don't read wincest myself, but know there are several wincest and slash spn comms very active on lj. You might want to post your story to one of those if you haven't already. Some places just aren't friendly, especially to newcomers. I think we've all experienced that in the fanfic world, unfortunately.

Since the most disgusting, disturbing or perverted fanfics I've ever read were HP I think SPN is not that bad.

Really? I pretty much started in Harry Potter fic and I remember being surprised by how hardcore some of it was. And then I got to Supernatural and it started to feel like that was the norm rather than the exception.

Okay, I do have one I wrote yonks ago that maybe a handful of people read, if that.

It's kind of AU-ish, but takes place in a canon setting, and though it's a story that fits into a series of fics (this is my favourite of the bunch), it can be read as a stand-alone. Gabriel/Lucifer implied, because they are my not-so-secret OTP. Concrit is always welcome, though I must warn, the fic is around 2 years old :)
