Do authors have to sign up, or can we just jump in and arm-wrestle each other for art? I haven't been around much lately- my summergen fic has been kicking my butt, but i hope to be back in the swing of things soon!

Nope, writers don't need to sign up ahead of time. Less pressure that way - if you sign up, then *none* of the art pieces appeals to your muse, you're kind of stuck. This way, the field will be open to everyone to take a look, and see if the sparks fly!

So basically, artists can sign up up until it's time to post the art? I'd love to participate, but my first idea is turning out a little sad-ish and I don't think it'll fit the bill anymore... So I'd be participating if my second sketch works out better and I manage to finish it in time. :)
