I've got a few potential ideas lined up and also some plot suggestions that I can't use because I play an antisocial grumpypants. Maybe someone else would like to make use of them...?

Entirely possible! Asch comes and goes a lot so there's plenty of opportunities for the two of them to cross paths. :3b This should happen.

But yeah! Also they supposedly met that one time after the first info net thing to discuss stuff. Any idea of how that might have gone down/what they actually talked about?
