[ **NOTE** : For those who are unaware, Alexander has been resting in Edel's room after the massacre he accrued these past few days. Although Edel had suspicions about the scenes played out, he wasn't about to let Alexander just lay dead on the forest floor for the most part.

Yeah. As far as I've heard, not one of them showed up during any fights or deaths.

It's one thing for Splendor to bring troublemakers, but it's another to allow them to run amok... Why would they let him do so much damage?

H-Hold on now, it happened randomly, didn't it? There has to be a reason behind it! I do not believe anyone would just up and try to kill citizens here for no reason whatsoever! I do not... I don't believe he was in... control.

[His eyes narrow just a little and he turns his head slightly to one side. So Edel's checked a list of the people who were killed. Asch suspects he might have looked into more than just the one thing. After all, a lot of people were injured, too, and a lot more happened.]

[ Shit. If there's anyone who was an expert at intimidation, it would be Asch right now. Although neither was aware of it, it could be partly due to their similar backgrounds. Noble children, the ever so serious cloud around them... still, Asch's comments made Edel jump slightly. He was tired, frustrated, and obviously worried about everything going on in this situation. ]

I... I know only pieces here and there. [ He frowns but defiantly looks away- ] As much as anyone else would know! I was not aware of the situation at hand until it was too late.

[Asch continues to study him, even though Edel's no longer facing the Seal. It's hard to miss how tired Edel seems. Asch can relate. After all, when was the last time he got a decent night's sleep?]

... [ Edel wants to say something, but he fears that he may say too much at the same time. His eyes flicker back to Asch, he did talk to him that one time... and really, the people here are just... for the most part, normal citizens caught up in a dangerous act. Protecting an individual, regardless of what they meant to Edel, seemed to take second standing.

And yet, it was very difficult. Difficult to talk, difficult to explain. ]

... What do you plan to do with him if he's found?

He's already died once.

It was not his intention to make this situation even worse than it already was, but Lloyd's voice completely and utterly took him offguard. [ 'Understaffed' was the impression Edel received of the clinic from the princess's words. He can't help but think he might have just encountered one of those... hmn, problrems. ]

Is that so? If you're not taking care of yourself, how can you take care of others? You're aware of this, aren't you?
