[The feed opens to Artemis, dressed causal, and clearly in an open field. It's easy to spot a sheath full of arrows over her shoulder, and a bow in her other hand.]

Some people offered to help me practice. Well, anyone still interested?

[To those wandering around the Golden District, you might just notice her practicing by shooting at dummies

[and look who just happened to be wandering around the area. At least the dummies don't look like him.

He catches sight of her and makes his way over, raising an eyebrow.]

I wasn't aware you were an archer, Artemis.

[How pleasant to run into you, Artemis!

[Artemis has an arrow locked and is taking aim when Lelouch walked up. Her eye gently twitched, but she didn't react otherwise. She simple continued what she was doing, releasing the arrow, watching as it made it's mark right in the dead center of the dummy's forehead.]

Yeah. I am. [She grips her bow close, her eyes flickering to Lelouch now.]

I happen to live in the Golden District.

[Deadly aim. He'd have to be careful with her right now anyway.]

I was taking a walk when I noticed you. [A beat, as he looks at the dummies.] Someone you know, I assume?

[He's glad it's not him.]

Oh? [Great. He lived in the same district as her? Just great.

And he just had to notice her. Siiiiiigh.]

( After the whole incident involving Wally and ... awkward turtle times and teenage hormones, M'gann's up for this whole practice thing. She and Artemis did get around to talking and she's been thankful ever since that day to be able to confide in her friend and teammate.

M'gann is going to approach with a bit of caution. )

[Artemis' eyes flickered over at the new voice, and she lowered her bow, refraining from reloading. There might also be the hint of a smile at the sight of her friend.]

Hey M'gann.

[No. No, I wouldn't comment on the dummy.]

( Just seeing that teeny hint of a smile draws out a smile from the Martian who moves closer. )

Are you finally practicing?

[There's no reason to be hesitant around her, M'gann. You're her bff.]

[He lives in the Golden District, and... it has been a long time since he heard the sounds of an archer. The swift slice of air and the inevitable thud of an arrow striking it familiar to him, and he does find himself leaving the Gilded Castle's yard in search of it.

He hadn't heard anything about helping her practice, and stops to watch.]

[She was aware of the male watching, but Artemis continued on, her arrows striking exactly where she aimed every time. Finally, she paused, turning her head to the one watching.]

You need something?

[He shrugs faintly, looking down the range and not at her.]

It's novel to see one with bow and arrow.

[When he flicks her, she blinks, before her eyes narrow. But the smirk doesn't leave her face.]

Oh, you're on.

[Happily pulling out one of her explosive arrows now. Readying it, now waiting for the perfect moment...

Aaaand. There. She releases the arrow. The question is, will it make it's mark?]
