[The feed opens to Artemis, dressed causal, and clearly in an open field. It's easy to spot a sheath full of arrows over her shoulder, and a bow in her other hand.]

[He lives in the Golden District, and... it has been a long time since he heard the sounds of an archer. The swift slice of air and the inevitable thud of an arrow striking it familiar to him, and he does find himself leaving the Gilded Castle's yard in search of it.

He hadn't heard anything about helping her practice, and stops to watch.]

[She was aware of the male watching, but Artemis continued on, her arrows striking exactly where she aimed every time. Finally, she paused, turning her head to the one watching.]

You need something?

It's novel to see one with bow and arrow.

You're telling me. Not many can back home, either.

[He turns his attention to her properly then, curious.]

And yet you practice it?

Guess I'm old fashioned when it comes to my weapon of choice.

[He really is looking at her with a great deal of interest.]

I haven't shot in... several years.

[That might be an observations to himself, reflecting on some of the things he's lost.]

Then I suppose you might understand why one might not be satisfied to merely wish for an instrument.

Guess I can. Wouldn't be happy if I had to use just any old bow. But can't you wish for a special one from home? [From what she understood of the wishing system, that would work, right?]

There are no guarantees. I have not yet been able to obtain a replica of my piano that is to my liking.

[He played on it anyway, but he was always aware of the difference in the sounds it made. Or perhaps he was just that prissy.]
